Nominating Committee

Mission Summary

The Nominating Committee is responsible to annually solicit, interview, vet, and nominate a  slate of candidates to the LSRPA Board of Trustees.

The guidelines, available here, will be reviewed annually by the Nominating Committee and the immediate past President of the LSRPA.

2023 Call for Nominations for Board of Trustees (BOT) Positions

The LSRPA Nominating Committee is requesting applications from LSRPA members in good standing, for one of the seven (7) seats that will be open when current terms expire, at the next Annual Meeting in February 2024.   A member may nominate themselves or nominate another member in good standing.

The Board of Trustees will, at that time, vote on the approved slate.  All approved candidates will then be considered to be members of the Board of Trustees of the LSRPA.  All board terms are two years in length.

The committee has formalized a set of the nomination metrics that will be used in the selection process. The basic requirements are as follows:

  1. Nominees must be an active member, in good standing with demonstrated service to the LSRPA.
  2. Nominations must be received by 5:00pm on July 31, 2023.
  3. Current Board Members who intend to run for another term must renominate and submit a completed application by the deadline.
  4. All nominees are subject to a conflict of interest verification.

A more detailed explanation of the qualifications guidelines and metrics employed by the Nominations Committee is available at this link:
