Description:

Not sure how to handle linear construction projects (LCPs)? This presentation will delve into the eligibility requirements for linear construction, describe the process that is followed from design through construction, and review how to plan for and manage the contaminated materials expected to be encountered during subsurface disturbance/excavation activities. The presentation will also discuss what is involved when unknown discharges are identified during a LCP and will provide case studies to illustrate the complexity of LCPs performed in urbanized and industrial/commercial areas.

Discussions on LCPs will include:

• How to define an LCP
• Applicable Use of the NJDEP LCP Technical Guidance  
• Process for Implementing LCPs   
• Identification of Unknown Discharges within Limits of LCP
• Important Takeaways Associated with LCPs
