Course Description:

Just when you think you are DONE! The issuance of a Response Action Outcome (RAO) by an LSRP is intended to be the final remediation document providing assurance the remediation of a contaminated site or area of concern (AOC) is protective of public health, safety, and the environment. But what comes with the issuance are many post-RAO regulatory, technical, and legal reviews and compliance responsibilities of which site remediation practitioners should be knowledgeable.

This 2-hour course will provide an overview of the regulatory requirements for issuing RAOs along with the important post-issuance compliance aspects of an RAO. Topics covered include: NJDEP inspection process, post-RAO Remedial Action Permit conditions and compliance, the role of an LSRP post-RAO, and potential site re-openers.
