Course Description:

Tentatively identified compounds (TICs) are non-targeted compounds detected in a sample using a GC/MS analytical method which has been tentatively identified using a mass spectral library search. TICs require additional evaluation to identify appropriate remediation standards and verify compliance with the NJDEP regulations. This presentation guides environmental professionals through the evaluation, compliance, and risk management of TICs during the investigation and remediation process.
