The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJDEP) Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) will be providing detailed training on the updates to Chapters 5-13 of the Field Sampling Procedures Manual (FSPM). The virtual training will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM via GoToWebinar (see registration information below). The training will also be posted to the FSPM website for future reference (, as well as the CSRR Training page (

The information in the FSPM provides environmental professionals, including Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs), the tools to promote consistency when environmental samples are collected. This training session will highlight the changes that have been made to Chapters 5-13.

The presentation is being delivered remotely and will only be available virtually. NO in-person option for this training is offered at this time. The maximum number of individual participants supported by GoToWebinar for this training is 1,000. Please do not wait to register if you are interested in attending. Continuing Education Credits (CECs):
The Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (SRPLB) has approved this training for for 3.5 Technical Credits (Course # 2024-012). After the course is complete, the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) will provide eligible attendees who have requested to receive CECs detailed instructions via email regarding how to obtain a CEC certificate for a fee of $25. Credits are also applicable to New Jersey and New York Professional Engineer (PE) licenses and New York Professional Geologist (PG) licenses; and other states. Please verify the requirements that apply to your state licenses.
