Remedial Action Permit (RAP) Application and Remedial Action Report (RAR) Submittal Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Flow Charts Summary

The Remedial Action Permit Application (RAP) and Remedial Action Report (RAR) Submittal Frequently Asked Questions and Flow Charts document was created by the Effective Collaborative Communications Committee (ECCC), consisting of Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) staff, Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs), and industry representatives. The ECCC will be providing detailed training on RAP Application and RAR Submittal FAQs and Flow Charts document.

The training will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM online only via GoToWebinar (see registration details below). The training will cover Notice Of Incomplete (NOI) RAP applications, issues identified during administrative and technical reviews of RAP applications and Remedial Action Reports (RAR), financial assurance (FA) common deficiencies, and Receptor Evaluations submitted with RARs. The most common issues that result in a NOI RAP Application and/or withdrawal of RAP Applications will be discussed at length. CSRR’s review process of the RAP Application and RAR submittals will also be discussed.

LSRP Continuing Education Credits (CECs):  1.0 Regulatory and 1.0 Technical (Course # 2023-036)

After the course is complete, the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) will provide eligible attendees who have requested to receive CECs and meet the requirements detailed instructions via email regarding how to obtain a CEC certificate for a fee of $25. Credits may be applicable to NJ PE licenses, PE licenses from other states, and PG licenses from other states; please verify the requirements that apply to your licenses.
