Topic: NJDEP New Jersey Protecting Against Climate Threats (NJPACT) Resilient Environments and Landscapes (REAL) Rulemaking Relevant to Site Remediation Projects

Please join us on February 8, 2023, for a presentation by Vincent Mazzei, State Floodplain Administrator, for an update on the NJPACT REAL rulemaking reform. NJPACT REAL incorporates climate change considerations, like sea level rise into the environmental land use rules including the Coastal Zone Management Rules, the Freshwater Wetlands Rules, the Flood Hazard Area Rules, and the Stormwater Management Rules. The 30-minute presentation will cover rulemaking pieces that are relevant to site remediation projects followed by 30 minutes for questions.
