Course Description:
ProUCL is a statistical software application used to assess air, water, and site contamination. ProUCL helps environmental practitioners make accurate decisions on contaminated sites that are cost-effective and protective of human health and the environment.
This course will present practitioner training for using USEPA’s ProUCL software to support site remediation. Hands-on examples using real datasets will give attendees experience in using the software. Topics to be covered will include data setup, raw statistics, 95UCL averaging for compliance attainment, and trend analysis, with a focus on how these techniques can be used to support site closure in accordance with NJDEP guidance.
Attendees are encouraged to download ProUCL from the EPA website (https://www.epa.gov/land-research/proucl-software) prior to the class and follow along on the software using a provided dataset.
Immediately following the presentation and Q&A session, there will be an open forum roundtable discussion identifying critical issues or problems LSRPs feel directly impacts their work.
