Description:

The topic of the October 19, 2021 Member Regulatory Roundtable is “Navigating the Choppy Waters of Remedial Action Permits (RAPs)” with a presentation by Mark Fisher.

Since the NJDEP issues RAPs, the permitting program reviews the RAP application and typically reviews the portions of the RAR which contain the remediation details associated with of the areas of concern for which the RAP is required. Navigating the process and submitting an approvable RAP application may seem challenging. This discussion will provide environmental practitioners with information related to the current state of NJDEP RAP application reviews, common errors or points of contention, and will provide recommendations on how to navigate the RAP application process successfully. Time will be allowed for Q&A.
 
The presentation will be followed by an interactive open forum roundtable discussion moderated by Kassidy Klink. During this portion of the program, attendees will be given an opportunity to identify critical issues or concerns they feel directly impact the work of LSRPs.
