This comprehensive Land Use course provides insight into various land use laws, regulations, permits and approvals that may be applicable and necessary when remediating a site. Instruction will be provided by Land Use law and environmental experts.

Course Description:
LSRPs and environmental professionals should have a clear understanding of how to successfully navigate the complex maze of Land Use Laws and Regulations impacting properties when investigating and remediating a site. This regulatory knowledge is critical to the professionals’ ability to bridge the remediation and redevelopment of a contaminated site and will help ensure compliance of each project.
The course will provide instruction on the various land use laws, regulations, permits and approvals that may be applicable and necessary when remediating a site. There will be a specific focus on applicability of Municipal Land Use Law on development and site planning, along with a discussion of necessary permits for remediation and redevelopment considerations while remediating. Case studies and panel discussions will be included.
