Description:

The topic of the November 2020 Regulatory Roundtable is Groundwater Modeling for LSRP Decisions with the presentation by Ted Toskos. LSRPs often need to make critical decisions about groundwater assessment and remediation. While groundwater sampling and information from the hydrogeologic literature provide the framework for developing the site conceptual model, the LSRP needs to make predictive assessments and explore potential alternatives and outcomes. Ted will discuss the use of GW modeling, types of models, setting up data quality objectives and decision points, and will provide case studies to illustrate these points. Time will be allowed for Q&A.

The presentation will be followed by a moderated interactive open forum roundtable discussion. This involves a review of regulations governing site remediation and identifies actual problems/issues LSRPs encounter during the remedial process. During this part of the program, attendees are given an opportunity to identify critical issues or concerns they feel directly impacts the work of LSRPs and discuss with their peers.

All Members and Associate Members are invited and encouraged to participate in the discussion. Space is limited so register now to ensure your spot at this roundtable.
