Description:

The topic of the October 2020 Regulatory Roundtable is Remedial Action Permits (RAPs) with the presentation by Mark Fisher of The ELM Group. Remedial Action Permits are required when contamination exceeding the Soil Remediation Standards or Ground Water Quality Standards remains after the remedial action has been demonstrated as protective. Mark will provide a summary of updates to current NJDEP Guidance and application forms; review the most common administrative and technical deficiencies with both soil and groundwater RAPs, and present strategies to improve RAP application submissions. Time will be allowed for Q&A.

The presentation will be followed by a moderated interactive open forum roundtable discussion. This involves a review of regulations governing site remediation and identifies actual problems/issues LSRPs encounter during the remedial process. During this part of the program, attendees are given an opportunity to identify critical issues or concerns they feel directly impacts the work of LSRPs and discuss with their peers.

All Members and Associate Members are invited and encouraged to participate in the discussion. Space is limited so register now to ensure your spot at this roundtable.
