| NJ LSRPA Continues to Grow Continuing Education Credit Offerings! |

Now an Approved Sponsor for New York Professional Engineer and Geologist Continuing Education Credit! The LSRPA, through its Continuing Education (CE) Committee, is pleased to announce that it has become an approved sponsor for continuing education for New York (NY) State Licensed Professional Engineers (PEs) and Professional Geologists (PGs)! The LSRPA recognizes that many New Jersey (NJ) Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) and supporting environmental professionals hold multiple licenses that require a variety of CE requirements for license renewals. By obtaining this sponsor approval, the LSRPA (through its many educational events) can now provide NY licensed professionals with the required CE credits. In addition, this approval bolsters the LSRPA CE program credit offerings which currently provides CE credits to LSRPs, NJ PEs and NJ Attorneys. What does this mean for NY PGs and PEs? This approval is for a three-year term beginning 9/1/2022, ending 8/31/2025. This approval is not retroactive. The CE Committee will evaluate and assign the appropriate credits (professional development hours [PDH]) in accordance with New York State Education Department guidance and advertise the credits available on each course posting. The current LSRP Ethics courses are approved for 1.0 PDH of Ethics. CE is one of the cornerstones of the LSRPA. We strive to offer a robust CE program with a variety of courses. Instructors are experts in their fields who bring vast knowledge, experience, and practical application to each educational event.
