A Letter from Sue Boyle, LSRPA's Executive Director

Dear Members, Sponsors, and Supporters:

Thank you for your continued support of the LSRPA during these unprecedented times. In March 2020, the Covid pandemic struck quickly and the changes to normal working practices were equally fast. Our professional and personal worlds were turned upside down and inside out!

During this time, the Association did its best to keep you informed about the impacts of New Jersey Emergency Orders, and NJDEP Site Remediation rule waivers. Chat sessions and eblast updates became the new normal. In May 2020, we pivoted continuing education opportunities to alternate verifiable learning formats and you all showed up enhancing the experience and providing valuable feedback for course and roundtable topic development. And, in February 2021, the NJSRC was virtual and successful. When we were able to gather safely outdoors, we held our annual golf outing and for the first time this summer, the cornhole tournament at the beach. We listened to our sponsors, who emphasized their need to safely gather in person and we felt the joy and excitement that you shared about being together and having fun in person on those few lovely summer and fall days.

Thank you!

As we head into 2022, I am happy to announce we will be back in person for the 2022 NJSRC being held February 15 and 16, at the New Brunswick Hyatt. We will be following recommended New Jersey guidelines for public gatherings and Hyatt policy to ensure a safe, healthy, and dynamic Conference. The Association is dedicated to its members, sponsors and all practitioners in the field and looks forward to providing another robust educational and networking experience. Please join us and take this opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, sponsors, and forge new relationships. I look forward to seeing you in February 2022!
