Course Description:

Environmental practitioners use analytical data to make decisions that affect human health and the environment, but how well is the analytical bias in the data understood?

In this two-hour course, Environmental Practitioners will learn how to use analytical data to make informed decisions that affect human health and the environment. We will explore how site conditions, site matrix, sampling error and inherent analytical uncertainty can affect the usability of the data. We’ll also discuss the importance of understanding the analytical bias in the data and how to interpret it. This course is designed to give practitioners detailed insights into the data analysis process and practical tools for how to use this data to make informed decisions.
