Course Description:

The Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) asserts that a Licensed Site Remediation Professional's (LSRPs) highest priority in the performance of professional services is the protection of public health and safety and the environment. In upholding this priority, an LSRP exercises independent professional judgment to make informed remediation decisions.

The goal of this newly updated 3-hour course is to provide insight into an LSRP’s application and management of professional judgment from a statutory, regulatory and legal perspective.

Topics to be Covered Include:

• Defining and exercising professional judgment
• Good risk management practices
• Using and documenting professional judgment throughout remediation
• Knowing and understanding NJDEP expectations
• Variances and deviations from regulations and guidance
• Case studies
