Course Description:

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJDEP’s) Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment Program (CSRRP) will be providing detailed training on the release of interim remediation standards for soil and soil leachate for perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and hexafluoropropylene oxide dimer acid and its ammonium salt (GenX) in accordance with the Remediation Standards at N.J.A.C. 7:26D-6.  The training will cover the development of the standards as well as the use of calculators to generate AOC/site-specific standards for PFAS. The training will also include information regarding applicability, case creation, enforcement, and processing a case, as well as a questions and answers segment.

Continuing Education Credits: 2.5 CECs PENDING Application and Approval

The credits may be applicable to NJ PE licenses, PE licenses from other states, and PG licenses from other states; please verify the requirements that apply to your licenses. After the course is approved, the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) will provide eligible attendees detailed instructions via email regarding how to obtain a CEC certificate for a fee of $25.
