Description:
The recent reauthorization of the Remediation Standards Rule, N.J.A.C. 7:26D, will include changes that will have a substantial impact on the remediation of sites in New Jersey. The updated rule will be accompanied by changes to several Technical Guidance documents including Impact to Groundwater and Vapor Intrusion. This course will provide an overview of the technical and regulatory updates to the remediation standards, including, but not limited to; the basis and background of standards development, and changes to direct contact, migration to groundwater and indoor air standards.
This training, by a panel of four LSRPs, includes participants from the Standards Rule Stakeholders Group and relevant Technical Guidance Committees. The instructors will provide a practical LSRP perspective on the rule changes, including examples and case studies, and address field site-specific questions from the attendees.
